RENTAL AGREEMENT
By signing this Rental Agreement the Customer and all guests and companions accept the terms of the Rental Agreement and agree to strictly comply with them.
Reservations:
To process a booking the Client will need to complete an online reservation form with the Clients personal information. The system will check on availability and quote a price for the rental period. Once the Client has confirmed the booking, a reservation deposit is necessary to hold your reservation. Together with the confirmation of your reservation, the Client will receive a confirmation number with the exact address, the name and contact number of the person that will meet you at the apartment and useful information of how to get there from the airport. (Reservation will not be confirmed until payment is done)
Method of payment:
The total amount corresponding to the booking of the apartment should be paid as follows:
- During the online booking process, a reservation deposit of between 10-20% should be paid by www.paypal.com
- The remaining balance should be paid, in cash, and in euros, upon arrival at the apartment and on signing the rental contract.
Deposits:
We require a damage deposit of €300 to €600 to cover possible breakages in the apartment that may be caused by incorrect usage or negligence on the part of the guests. This deposit must be paid upon arrival together with the remaining balance of the rental fee. ( Also in cash and in euros)
This deposit will be returned at the end of your stay, once the inventory has been checked, and we have verified that no damage has occurred and that the apartment is in a reasonable state of order and cleanliness. Other means of payment, such as PayPal are also acceptable if previously agreed. Kindly take care of the keys of the apartment. In the event that a key is lost, 100€ will be deducted from the security deposit to replace the lock of the apartment.
Pricing:
Our pricing is in EUROS. The price of the apartments is per night and depends on the number of people staying in the apartment. Both apartments have a minimum 3 night stay, except during special events that the minimum stay could be longer. The price of the stay is guaranteed with the approval of your reservation. Water, electricity, heating and taxes during your stay are included in this amount. This price also includes all household linens.
Number and identity of the guests:
While completing online reservation form, the client must leave his/her name, passport number, permanent address, telephone, e-mail, date of birth, and number of people who will occupy the apartment by ages. The use of the apartment by a greater number of occupants than that stated on the booking form is strictly forbidden. The number of persons who may use the apartment may not exceed the maximum capacity allocated for each apartment, except for children under two years of age. In the event of any infringement of these conditions, pg15.es reserves the right to terminate the contract, and request the client to vacate the apartment , without any compensation or refund. There is no charge for children under 12 years old. If you need a baby cot, please request for it when making the reservation.
Cleaning:
All bookings are charged with a one-time payment of between 60€ to cover the thorough cleaning of the apartment before your arrival and the supply of clean sheets and towels. When checking out, the client must leave the apartment in generally clean condition, which means that the dishes must be washed and trash must be taken out of the apartment. If any of these terms are not completed, deduction from the damage deposit can take place.
Arrivals & Departures:
You must inform us about your arrival/departure times to Barcelona with flight or train information, upon receipt of reservation confirmation to allow us organize the meeting at the apartment. Check-in is at 15h00 and Check-out is at 11h00. However, should the apartment be available the day before or after, we will be pleased to consider your needs. All arrivals after 21h00 will have an extra charge of 30€ as a “late arrival” fee. We ask that you call the given mobile phone from the airport, after collecting your luggage and before making your way to the apartment. This way we know whether you have arrived on time or not, as often times planes, trains, and automobiles are delayed or rescheduled.
A valid ID or passport will be required at check-in. Departure from the apartment must be made before 11h00 in order to give sufficient time for the cleaning and preparation of the apartment for the next occupants. If you need to leave the apartment later than this time, let us know and we will try to arrange it for you. Departures before 08h00 will be charged an extra fee of 30€.
Cancellations:
If you cancel a booking you will lose the reservation deposit. This payment is non refundable, regardless of the reason for the cancellation.
We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance which will cover all expenses incurred from the possible cancellation of the booking.
PG15.es should be unable to provide to the client the property he has booked, they reserve the right to transfer him to a property of similar characteristics.
Internet:
Wireless Internet access (WiFi) is available in both apartments. WiFi will be provided for free to our guests. PG15.es will not be held responsible if internet connection is down, however we will try to solve the problem as best as we can.
Taxes:
Our web prices include all local taxes. Value added tax of 7% is included in our prices.
House Rules:
As a client, you are expected to respect the rules of our apartments. These rules pertain to the apartment itself and the community it belongs to. We expect normal civic behavior. Please read these rules thoroughly to avoid any problems.
- No smoking is allowed inside the apartment. If you choose to smoke outside at the balcony, kindly do not throw cigarette butts or any other rubbish out into the street.
- Parties of any nature are strictly prohibited.
- Please turn off the air-conditioning and lights as you leave the apartment; all together we must try to conserve energy and reduce our footprint on planet earth.
- No pets or animals of any kind are allowed in the apartment.
- Respect quite hours from 22h00 until 09h00. Loud noise and general acts of disrespect will not be tolerated.
- Clients are requested to act with the utmost courtesy and respect towards neighbors and other apartment building residents.
- Please respect noise levels in the hallways, stairwells, balconies and whilst you are in the apartment itself.
- Please lock the door of the apartments and the front door of the building securely behind you and only take what you need with you for the day as there are professional pick pockets in most tourist areas.
- Please do not leave rubbish in the apartment when you check out. The client is expected to leave the flat in reasonable conditions for cleaning, in the same way the apartment was found on the day of arrival.
- The trash bins are located in a room between the mailboxes and the elevator at the ground floor.
- When the concierge is absent, please ensure that the main building door remains securely closed after entering or leaving building.
- Please respect the apartment, its furniture, amenities, etc with total respect.
-When using the Jacuzzi (if available), please ensure there is enough water level before turning on the water pump.
These house rules will be at your disposal at the apartment for future reference
The client is liable for the correct and decent behavior of all the persons accompanying him/her. Should the client or any of the persons accompanying him/her not behave in accordance with normal civic standards, pg15.es shall be entitled to request the Customer and the persons accompanying him/her to leave the apartment without the right for the latter to claim any compensation whatsoever.
Our main aim is to provide our clients with quality accommodation and a good experience in Barcelona.
Privacy:
In compliance with local laws, PG15.es treats the personal information with the utmost respect and confidentiality and takes reasonable measures to ensure that your personal information is stored securely. With your consent, we will keep records of your personal information for promoting our business with you. Your personal information will never be provided to any third party for their marketing or promotional use. You can request we delete you from our database to no longer receive information from us.
Liability disclaimer:
PG15.es is not responsible for any damage or loss that the client may suffer, directly or indirectly, as a consequence of his/her use of the apartment, including, without limitation, fire, robbery or any other criminal behavior.
Additionally:
- PG15.es is not liable for the breaking down of elevators.
- PG15.es is not liable of any adverse circumstance in the utilities in the apartment (electricity, water or internet)
- PG15.es is not responsible of any electrical device malfunctioning (air-conditioning...), which was correctly functioning at check-in.
However, we promise to do everything possible to find a rapid and satisfactory solution to any incidents that may occur during your stay in Barcelona.
